Raw material cost analysis of epoxy resin coated steel bar
Epoxy resin-coated steel bars are steel bars that are pre-treated on the surface of the steel bar (sand blasting and derusting)-steel bar heating-electrostatic spraying-water purification and cooling-quality inspection, and a steel layer of epoxy resin protective film is sprayed on the steel bar surface. The pretreatment of the surface of the steel bar is to send the steel bar into the sealed room for sand blasting and rust removal, and has a certain roughness to ensure the adhesion of the coating to the steel bar. The treated surface must not contain harmful oxides, scars, sharp corners, burrs and other surface defects that affect the quality of the coating. Rebar after the surface treatment is qualified and the dust is removed immediately enters the heating device room and is heated by the induction heating furnace to make the surface reach a certain temperature. The heated steel bar enters the electrostatic spraying room to spray powder epoxy resin. The powder melts on the surface of the steel bar to form a uniform film, which solidifies after a few seconds, and forms an inert excellent anti-corrosion protective layer on the steel bar surface after cooling. Compared with ordinary steel bars, epoxy resin coated steel bars need to be processed through the above procedures and a layer of resin paint with a thickness of about 0.15mm to 0.30mm is sprayed on the surface of the steel bars, which inevitably increases the cost of raw materials. Now the price per ton of steel in the market shows that the epoxy resin-coated steel bar costs about twice as much as the raw material cost of using ordinary steel bar.
